Why Minecraft, is better than Fortnite.

Today this article will answer that question, but there are three main reasons, Modibility letting you mod the game. The fact you can’t run out of things to do since it’s a sandbox game. Lastly the game is amazing since you can play anywhere, any time on practically any device.

First, the amount. Mods let you modify the game, so you can’t run out of new bosses to fight, or blocks to collect. For example, “Ice, and Fire” is a Minecraft mod that lets you ride, and hatch dragons, along with an entire progression line, and multiple dragons. It’s free. There’s an absurd amount of mods that you can play with, and the developers put in hundreds of hours, so you can enjoy the game more, using these. You can add small things like chairs, all the way to entire new dimensions which change the pace of the game. One example of this is the Aether, which is a whole new dimension that people thought were so good, people started thinking it was inside of the base game. Another mod is the twilight forest which is another dimension mod, or Create: Mod which adds complex machinery.

Secondly, it’s a sandbox game, meaning you can build stuff, collect every mob, break a whole mountain, or PVP people. There’s a boss fight progression, but after that you don’t really have to even beat the bosses, or play creative mode, and then build your heart out, then do it some more. Some examples of things people build are entire farms which automate the game with redstone, which is practically wires. You can go so far that people build Minecraft INSIDE of Minecraft, and build entire computers. People even build minigames, like spleef where people take shovels and dig out the opponents into lava, with snow on top, the last one wins. You can also play with your friends, that takes me to my next point.

You can play on anything, even a smart fridge. Can you play Fortnite on a Samsung fridge? Or on an Apple TV? + you can run it on garbage to a nasa PC. You have IPhone, Android, Xbox, Android, PC, it’s so much fun to play with friends as you can build together, or survive. Some people program custom servers with features like LifeSteal, which lets you take people`s hearts and use them to fight other people. There`s Hypixel which let you fight people inside of the sky and you respawn, and have a bed, but if someone else breaks your bed, you no longer respawn, this along with the competitive feel, makes it a perfect way to enjoy the game, while still having the “crafty” element.

I feel fortnite is worse, since it’s not very diverse, and you can’t play it on much, along with the fact once you’re out of a match, everything is gone. I have played Fortnite for a LONG time, probably 2000 hours+, and I still think Minecraft is the better game, since once you do something it actually has progression, and something like Fortnite it takes an absurd amount of time to get good, and the skill roof is absurd. I think those are probably the biggest reasons.

So, are you going to play Minecraft now? I hope so, I think it is the best game of all time, and it has the best sandbox features ever, although Terraria is a close contender, but for what Minecraft actually is, it depends on what you want, but I think Minecraft is better overall.
